The HR Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks. This role assists in onboarding/offboarding, digital enhancements, employee record-keeping, benefits administration, and general employee support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation. WHAT YOU WILL DO Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and updating HRIS systems. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws. Support benefits administration, including enrolment, changes, and responding to employee inquiries. Responsible for inputting, initiating and finalizing employee record(s) updates in Workday (HRIS). Support Payroll processing, including, timely submissions of data changes. Support the department to in digital enhancements of systems, processes and procedures. Support benefits administration, including enrolment, changes, leave management, and responding to employee inquiries. Provide administrative support to the HR team, such as preparing reports, drafting correspondence, and organizing events. Respond to first level employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Help ensure compliance with labour laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and internal policies. Participate in employee engagement initiatives and diversity and inclusion efforts. Assist in audits and compliance checks related to HR processes. Other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience in HR or administrative support roles. Knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Workday and/or other HRIS systems. Proficiency in Workday an asset. This is an in-office position at 15 York Street, Toronto, Ontario. This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $42,500 to $71,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program.
