We are now hiring an Executive Sous Chef at our Bentall location in Vancouver, BC. Our growing team has plenty of opportunities for anyone looking for training, development and a career in restaurants and hospitality.

What You’ll Do:
- Ensure all inventory of food and equipment is accounted for and secured upon closing of the kitchen.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to all cooks within the kitchen, assisting with work, training, and development, including overview and updates on policies and procedures.
- Create work schedules for all kitchen staff and assign work and duties accordingly.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with front and back of house, communicating upcoming functions for the whole day, products that are out/short, and daily features.
- Always maintain composure and professionalism, ensuring kitchen personnel are supported and prepared for peak hours.
- Follow proper reporting procedures for accidents and incidents
- Execute daily meal periods, build relationships with FOH counterparts
What You've Done:
- 2-3 years of kitchen/restaurant experience
- 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef, or comparable
