Centerfire is currently seeking self-motivated, experienced individuals to join our workforce as Utility Equipment Operators.
We take significant pride in bringing on our crew members with the expertise to operate a variety of machines and drive a range of trucks, in addition to their other practical skills.
Opportunity: Heavy Equipment Operator (Dozer/Grader/Excavator)
Schedule: 14/14 working up to 12 hours per day.
Job Location: Surmont/ Camp Available
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to consistently lift at least 50lbs
- Willing and able to work long shifts (12hrs) in fast-paced environments and live in camp accommodations
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Adheres to strict safety protocols, and familiar with PPE use
- Previous oil and gas facility experience is an asset
- Experienced in operating multiple equipment types (telehandler, loader, skidsteer)
- Holds valid safety tickets – H2S Alive, CSTS2020 (Telehandler certification is an asset)
- Holds a valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract (Class 3 or 1 license holders preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude – basic understanding of tools and machinery, capable of performing basic repairs
- Reliable and possesses a strong work ethic with a willingness to work safely and follow procedures
- Dependable and punctual
