The Senate Radio‑Television Correspondents Gallery Deputy Director assists in managing press operations and office staff that serve as Senate liaisons to electronic news‑gathering reporters. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in the management of the staff of the Senate Radio‑Television Gallery; assisting in overseeing the distribution of press credentials; creating staff work schedules; responding to reporters’ inquiries regarding news event coverage and legislative activities; and performing general office administrative tasks. The Deputy Director serves as a resource for multiple stakeholders, including Senate staff, Senate officials, and broadcast news journalists, among others, in organizing press coverage of special events, news conferences, Senate committee hearings, and other news events.This position is a management role that works under the supervision of the Senate Radio‑Television Correspondents Gallery Director.#J-18808-Ljbffr
