Job Description
The Role
We're looking for a content-driven marketing coordinator who can own our social presence, write across formats, and help us produce video content that converts. You'll sit at the intersection of creative and performance, working closely with our Digital team on paid media results and with our Director of Marketing on video scripts and production.
You'll be in the room when strategy gets set, in the comments when customers have questions, and sitting across from real sellers when we're capturing testimonials on camera.
What You'll Do
Social Media
- Own CarDoor's social channels end to end: ideation, creation, scheduling, and monthly performance analysis
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in CarDoor's brand voice
- Identify content opportunities and surface trends relevant to our audience of Canadian vehicle sellers
Copywriting
- Write copy across formats including email sequences, website updates, and ad creative
- Work directly with our Digital team to review ad performance data and iterate copy based on what's converting
Video
- Collaborate with our Director of Marketing on video scripts for organic and paid content
- Assist on production days and contribute creatively to the process
- Interview CarDoor customers on camera for testimonial videos, from pre-shoot prep through to the interview itself
Who You Are
- 2 to 4 years in a content marketing role.
- A strong writer who moves comfortably between email copy and social captions without losing the brand voice
- At ease in a production environment and confident facilitating a customer interview on camera (you don't need to operate a cinema camera, but you can't be scared of one)
- Familiar enough with Meta Ads to have a productive conversation about performance and iterate quickly on copy
- Organized enough to manage your own workload without hand-holding
- Automotive experience is not required but is definitely an asset
Nice to have
- HubSpot or comparable CRM/email automation experience
- Comfort with Final Cut Pro X and/or The Adobe Creative Suite
Benefits
- Casual dress
- Company events
- Dental care
- Disability insurance
- Discounted or free food
- Extended health care
- Life insurance
- On-site parking
- Paid time off
- Vision care
Work Location: In person
