Reports to: Manager, Total Rewards

Type: Temporary | Full-Time | 1 Vacancy

Location Options: Ottawa ON (Hybrid) or Toronto ON (Hybrid) or Ontario CA (Remote) or Quebec CA (Remote)

Salary: $104,000 to $130,000

You Have

  • Deep subject matter expertise and understanding of compensation programs, executive compensation, incentive plans, and in-depth knowledge of pay legislation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience leading the execution of compensation programs at all levels; including market analysis, market benchmarking, salary review cycles, incentive administration, and job evaluation.
  • Significant experience consulting with employees and leaders at all levels on compensation matters, with demonstrated tact and diplomacy when navigating complex and confidential information.
  • A strategic mindset that identifies opportunities to tailor an approach to address unique business needs, while ensuring equity and consistency in administering processes and in decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to clearly and concisely shape messages to different audiences, convey complex topics, and to influence at all levels within an organization.
  • An established reputation for reliably managing time and projects; successfully juggling multiple short-term tasks while progressing long-term goals.
  • Outstanding numerical and analytical skills, with strong researching and problem-solving abilities to collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make informed recommendations.
  • Experience and exposure working in other areas of Total Rewards, integrating compensation programs, and contributing to a broader Total Rewards strategy.

The Enterprise works in partnership with stakeholders and counterparts nationally across Canada. Due to the nature of the work performed for this position, the incumbent is required to communicate with colleagues in Quebec, Ontario and/or other provinces in English. Proficiency in French is an asset, but not a requirement of this role.
