Canadian Blood Services is seeking two temporary part-time Phlebotomists to enhance our committed Collections team. Your primary responsibility will be to collect donor blood while adhering to health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct registration and confidential screening of donors
- Perform venipuncture according to established health standards
- Ensure safety and comfort of donors during collections
- Maintain accurate blood product information in the system
- Support mobile events by setting up clinic equipment
Requirements
- High school graduation with phlebotomy training or related experience
- Three years of customer service experience required
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Multilingual ability is an asset
