As a Payroll & HR System Specialist with experience in handling payroll for multiple geographies, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes for employees in India, UAE, and Africa. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries while complying with country-specific payroll regulations. Additionally, you will be involved in HR system administration, compliance adherence, employee support, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll for employees in India, UAE, and Africa, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific payroll regulations, including tax deductions, social security, gratuity, pension schemes, and other statutory benefits.
- Handle payroll variations such as different tax structures, social contributions, and gratuity policies across geographies.
- Coordinate with country-specific finance and HR teams to manage payroll discrepancies and reconciliations.
- Maintain and update HRMS databases across different geographies, ensuring compliance with local data protection laws.
- Generate global and country-specific HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, collaborating with IT and HR teams across different locations.
- Stay updated on India, UAE, and African labor, statutory requirements, and payroll compliance policies.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns, provident fund contributions, gratuity payments, social security deductions, and end-of-service benefits as per local regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees and HR teams on payroll systems and policies across multiple geographies.
- Address employee payroll queries related to salaries, tax deductions, benefits, and local statutory contributions.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in multi-country payroll processing (India, UAE, Africa) and knowledge of local labor laws.
- Proficiency in HRMS and payroll software (e.g., SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, DarwinBox).
- Strong understanding of regional tax, end-of-service benefits, gratuity, social security, and payroll taxation.
- Experience working with expatriate payroll and currency conversions is a plus.
- Knowledge of HR automation and process improvement strategies is preferred.
