Role Overview:
You will be serving as a Procurement Specialist at c3controls in Mumbai, reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. Your main responsibility will be to establish a resilient and cost-effective supply chain by collaborating with vendor partners. As a strategic negotiator, you will focus on enhancing supplier relationships, optimizing performance, formulating supplier strategies, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation. Your role will involve sourcing high-quality suppliers, managing complex contracts, and proactively identifying potential risks to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor relationships to meet performance targets for on-time delivery, quality, and cost.
- Evaluate and select potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and technical capabilities.
- Serve as the primary contact point for vendors, fostering collaborative partnerships.
- Develop and execute strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on cost optimization and risk management.
- Negotiate supplier agreements to secure competitive pricing, quality, and service standards.
- Oversee supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define procurement requirements and align strategies.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement specialists and coordinators.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in procurement and sourcing.
- Profound understanding of procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and risk management.
- Proficiency in working with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
