Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist

Description

The VMI Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels at customer sites through scheduled replenishment, stock rotation, vending machine servicing, and on‑site delivery support. This role ensures customers always have the products they need while supporting strong service and operational efficiency within Bunzl Safety.

Compensation: $50,000

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels at customer facilities.
• Receive, organize, and put away stock orders.
• Refill, maintain, and troubleshoot vending machines.
• Perform stock counts and enter replenishment orders accurately.
• Identify and communicate shortages, overages, or inventory issues.
• Drive to multiple customer locations as part of a scheduled route.
• Support customer deliveries as required.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or VMI (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer-service mindset and comfort working on-site.
• Basic Excel proficiency.
