Instructor - Bookkeeping & Accounting

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and engaging Accounting & Bookkeeping Instructor to deliver high-quality online instruction to adult learners. The ideal candidate will bring both professional expertise and a passion for teaching, helping students build the practical knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in accounting and bookkeeping roles. This position is remote/online, part-time at 15 - 25 hours per week (Monday – Friday) with the potential for increased hours based on class size.

Duties

• Teach a minimum of 4 online lectures per week & mark assignments.
• Finalize grades for each module and provide grades and attendance report to registrar and financial aid.
• Reach out to at-risk students and coordinate one-on-one meetings/coaching.
• Address student questions and concerns.
• Other related projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proof of diploma (at minimum) in Accounting & Bookkeeping.
• 3+ years current field related experience in or related field required.
• QuickBooks certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.
• Previous experience in an educational setting or online instruction is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software for program management.
