Project Manager (Boiler / Turbine Generator Erection Projects)

Position: Project Manager Boiler / Turbine Generator (TG) Projects

Location: Project Site / Corporate Office (as assigned)

Reporting To: Director Projects / Managing Director

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline / Diploma in Mechanical with Project Execution Experience.

Experience

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in power plant construction, erection, commissioning, and project management.

Must have successfully completed at least one full project cycle involving the erection, commissioning, and handover of a Boiler or Turbine Generator (TG) package.

Experience in handling large-scale EPC, construction, or industrial projects is preferred.

Job Purpose To lead, coordinate, and manage all aspects of Boiler and/or Turbine Generator erection projects from mobilization through commissioning and project closure.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

• Plan, organize, and execute project activities.
• Develop project execution plans and schedules.
• Monitor project progress and take corrective actions.

Site Management

• Lead site execution teams.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.

Contract and Client Coordination

• Act as primary interface with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Safety, Health and Environment

• Ensure implementation of safety policies and statutory requirements.

Quality Management

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Resource and Cost Management

• Monitor budgets and optimize resource utilization.

Commissioning and Project Closure

• Coordinate commissioning activities and project handover.
