Find your future with us.Software Engineer - Entry LevelWhy This is an Exciting Role:As a Software Engineer - Entry Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be responsible for:Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements Contributing to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutionsInnovating RF signal processing applicationsDeveloping analytics, visualization and discovery toolsIntegrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factorsReviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Experience and Qualifications:To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:Required Education and Years of Experience:No demonstrated experience is requiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFour (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degreeRequired Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Proficiency working in Linux development environments Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScriptDesired QualificationsExperience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programmingExperience with geospatial processing Experience coding 2D and 3D image displaysExperience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control toolsExperience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management toolsTelework/Remote Availability: Telework/Remote work currently not authorizedWork Location(s): Annapolis Junction, MDSummary Pay Range:Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only.
