Elevate your aviation career with Boeing Canada as an Aircraft Avionics Lead Technician in CFB Trenton, ON. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, system oversight, and team mentoring while managing critical avionics operations. The Aircraft Avionics Lead Technician is a key position within the Canada Operational & Intermediate Maintenance Augmentation Support Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will supervise the Avionic Technician team during Home Station Checks and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Your extensive experience will enable you to troubleshoot advanced communication systems, conduct oversight of assembly and disassembly operations, and ensure quality assurance throughout the maintenance process. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead assembly and modification of aerospace vehicle systems
- Oversee troubleshooting of complex electrical systems
- Direct validation and verification testing procedures
- Manage documentation for compliance and traceability
- Mentor Avionic Technician team for continual improvement Requirements:
- 4+ years as an Aircraft Avionic Technician or equivalent
- Knowledge of RCAF operations and maintenance practices
- Experience with Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license
- Eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
- Ability to work on government defense programs Contribute to aviation excellence at Boeing Canada through skilled leadership and operational oversight in avionics systems.
