Battery Energy Storage System Engineering Lead

As the BESS Engineering Manager at Blueleaf Energy, specializing in BESS design and engineering, you will play a crucial role within the Engineering Services team based in India. Your main duty will involve preparing designs, reviewing engineering layouts, diagrams, and quantity estimations throughout the developmental and construction phases of renewable energy projects across the portfolio.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Prepare design and review engineering drawings, calculations, and documents to suit the project schedule related to BESS.
• Use custom software tools to design BESS layouts.
• Apply knowledge of solar system design, BESS, and different configuration and optimization methodologies.
• Review electrical SLD, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for electric systems.
• Prepare various technical specifications, RFP, BOM, and other engineering documents related to hybrid (BESS+PV/Wind) RE projects.
• Ensure engineering deliverables with high quality as per departmental operating procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other responsibilities as necessary to support the successful completion of projects.
• *Qualifications:**
• BE/BTech (Electrical/ Electronics) from a recognized college/university.
• 5-8 years of experience in solar/wind hybrid utility scale projects, with 1-2 years specifically in BESS projects in India and internationally.
