Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and related documents to assess the risk involved.

• Approve or decline applications based on established criteria and underwriter judgment.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support underwriting decisions.
• Work closely with the sales team, agents, and brokers to gather necessary information and ensure accurate underwriting.
• Ensure all underwriting activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Communicate with clients and agents to explain underwriting decisions and provide guidance on coverage options.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to continuously improve underwriting practices.
