A highly regarded Am Law firm is seeking a Trademark and Copyright Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Washington, DC office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated intellectual property disputes, including district court litigation and contested TTAB proceedings.

This partner-track position provides hands-on litigation experience, direct involvement in complex cases, and the opportunity to develop into a top-tier IP litigator within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to discovery requests in trademark and copyright litigation matters
• Manage document review processes and case files
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and pre-trial activities
• Engage in pre-litigation investigations and settlement negotiations
• Handle enforcement actions and contested TTAB proceedings

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Trademark Litigation Associate Attorney or IP Litigation Attorney
• Strong background in trademark and copyright litigation
• Admission to the relevant jurisdiction required (DC Bar preferred)
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and research skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated interest in becoming a top-tier litigator
