A highly regarded and expanding law firm is seeking an Environmental Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join its New York office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys looking to handle sophisticated, multi-party litigation matters with significant responsibility and direct involvement in case strategy.

This partner-track position offers the chance to work within a growing office environment that combines the resources of an established firm with the entrepreneurial energy of a developing practice. Attorneys will gain exposure to complex environmental and corporate litigation, including high-stakes matters with regulatory and commercial implications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex environmental and commercial disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in multi-party litigation matters
• Conduct extensive legal research and factual investigations
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and depositions
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and litigation teams
• Contribute to trial preparation and case development from inception through resolution

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Associate Attorney or Environmental Litigation Attorney
• Strong litigation writing and analytical skills
• Experience handling complex litigation matters preferred
• Environmental law experience, including CERCLA, is advantageous but not required
• Admission to the New York Bar required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment
