Night Auditor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. Duties

• Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and reconciling daily financial transactions
• Prepare and review reports on hotel revenue, expenses, and occupancy for management review
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
• Respond to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist guests with requests, complaints, or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
• Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during overnight hours
• Update and maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and guest information
• Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless communication and operational continuity during shift changes

Skills

• Proven experience in front desk operations or hotel front office preferred; hotel experience is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette skills
• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guest populations
• Exceptional attention to detail for accurate financial reconciliation and record keeping
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service best practices
