We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for the Baptist Endocrinology South office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity.

This position is a phone-support-focused Medical Assistant role. Strong phone etiquette, professionalism, and accurate documentation skills are essential.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements

• 2 years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
