Role Description The BMLT Graduate | Medical Laboratory Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based at Balaji Pathology Lab in Sausar. The technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including sample collection, preparation, and analysis across hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and other relevant disciplines. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration, and following established protocols for test processing and documentation. The role involves recording and interpreting results, assisting in quality control procedures, and reporting findings to senior laboratory staff or clinicians. The technician will also help maintain inventory of reagents and supplies, uphold safety and infection control standards, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine relevant to diagnostic pathology.
• Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills, including specimen handling, test execution, and proper documentation.
• Candidates should possess experience in Quality Control practices to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with laboratory standards.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in operating and maintaining Laboratory Equipment used in routine and specialized testing.
• Completed BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology) or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Understanding of safety, infection control, and biohazard waste management in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with laboratory and clinical staff.
• Prior experience in a pathology or diagnostic lab is preferred but not mandatory for motivated graduates.
