Job Description
Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience
Summary
- Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM [Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM])
Responsibilities
- Create and update purchase orders to support production.
- Track supplier deliveries and follow up on order status.
- Communicate delivery updates to internal teams.
- Support supplier communication for order confirmations and shipment tracking.
- Assist with resolving basic supplier issues (late deliveries, invoice discrepancies, etc.).
- Help manage schedule changes and adjust orders accordingly.
- Work with cross-functional teams (planning, engineering, quality) to support material availability.
- Identify simple process improvement opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or business (preferred) or high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel).
- Experience utilizing an ERP system (Oracle Preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in procurement or supply chain management.
