eClinicalWorks IT Administrator

Salary Range: $75k–$90k (varies depending on years of experience)

A healthcare organization is seeking a skilled EMR Administrator to oversee, optimize, and support its electronic health record system, eClinicalWorks (eCW).

The position is fully onsite and plays a critical role in day-to-day system reliability and long-term optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the organization’s eClinicalWorks system
• Lead system configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing optimization efforts
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for clinical and administrative users
• Design and deliver EMR training for new hires and existing staff, including refresher sessions and workflow updates
• Manage EMR-related projects, including enhancements, integrations, and process improvements

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience administering or supporting an Electronic Medical Record system, with strong preference for eClinicalWorks
• Must have training experience in EMR
• Prior experience in a dedicated EMR/EHR-focused role (e.g., EMR Administrator, EHR Analyst, eCW Super User)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical healthcare environment
• Background in end-user training, workflow analysis, project coordination, or system optimization strongly preferred
