Atlas Connections has partnered with a long-standing, family-owned business in Germantown, MD on their search for a Senior Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant. This is a full-time, on-site role with flexibility on hours and days, including the option to work weekends if preferred.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this person will own the day-to-day finance and accounting function across the business and a few related entities. What You'll Do
- Monthly financial statement reporting
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Daily and weekly financial entries, including sales receipts and category sales from the register system
- Cash flow management
- Payroll processing through Paycom (fully automated — minimal lift)
- Banking and CPA communications
- Office management support across additional real estate entities
- Partner with ownership and management on financial matters as they come up

- 3-5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in a retail or small-business environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong attention to detail — this role touches daily transactional work alongside higher-level reporting
