Pouch Machine Operator (Afternoon Shift)

Summary: The primary responsibility of the Pouch Maker is to convert laminated films into stand-up or lay-flat pouches with or without a zipper, as per the customer’s required specifications on the Hudson Sharp Ares 400 Pouching Machine.

Primary Responsibilities of Pouch Machine Operator:

• Monitors the pouching machine during continuous production
• Maintains product quality that meets the company’s and customer’s standards
• Sets up the machine in a timely fashion
• Follows the production schedule for jobs, completes production based on shift averages and documents production results
• Keeps work area clean and organized and ensures spare parts, tools, test equipment and documents are properly stored and maintained
• Follows all safety and food-safe procedures and complies with company policies
• Performs other related duties and tasks as required to meet the needs of our operations

Required Skills and Abilities of Pouch Machine Operator:

• Ability to work in teams
• Organization skills
• Knowledge of how to properly maintain equipment
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with detailed objects

Hours: Afternoon Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 10:30pm.
