Job Title: Application Support Engineer

"Responsibilities"

The Application Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of business-critical applications. The role involves incident management, root cause analysis, application monitoring, release support, and close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and business teams.

  • Provide L2/L3 application support for production and pre-production environments.
  • Monitor applications using monitoring tools and proactively identify issues.
  • Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Handle application deployments, configuration changes, and release support.
  • Work with development teams to debug application issues and implement fixes.
  • Support batch jobs, schedulers, and integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA, SLO, and ITSM processes.
  • Create and maintain support documentation and runbooks.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and production support activities.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and network teams as required.
