Job Responsibilities:
User Management:
- Adding, modifying, and removing user accounts. (SP)
- Managing user licenses and ensuring that users have the appropriate access to M365 services. (SP)
- Handling password resets and assisting users with login issues. (SP)
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitoring the health and performance of M365 services.
- Reviewing security and compliance reports to identify and address potential issues.
- Generating usage reports to track adoption and usage trends.
Security and Compliance:
- Support security policies, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access. (SP)
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
- Monitoring and responding to security alerts and incidents.
Email and Collaboration:
- Managing Exchange Online and on prem, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes.
- Supporting collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Ensuring that email and collaboration services are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Mail flow between internal (On prem, Cloud solutions, external partners, etc)
Updates and Maintenance:
- Keeping exchange servers (on prem) and services up to date with the latest patches and updates.
- Performing regular maintenance tasks and system checks.
- Addressing any technical issues that arise and ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Support:
- Providing technical support to users, support teams and resolving any issues they encounter via the escalation process.
Automation and Optimization:
- Support existing automation repetitive tasks that are using PowerShell scripts.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize and improve the efficiency of M365 services.
