Role Overview: We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to serve as the first point of contact between App Knit and prospective clients. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify potential opportunities, engage with prospects, qualify leads, and create a strong pipeline for the sales team.
This internship is designed for candidates who are interested in building a long-term career in technology sales and business development. The role provides hands-on exposure to lead generation, client communication, CRM management, sales qualification, and international business development processes.
Additional Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients and business opportunities.
- Engage with inbound and outbound leads to understand their business requirements.
- Qualify prospects based on project scope, budget, timeline, and service fit.
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings for senior sales team members.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and communications in HubSpot CRM.
- Track lead status and update sales pipelines regularly.
- Prepare weekly activity and lead generation reports.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospects throughout the initial sales cycle.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to generate future opportunities.
- Support the sales team in developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Gather market intelligence and provide insights on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with prospects across various channels.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development Executives and Account Managers to facilitate a smooth sales handoff process.

- Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, or business development.
- Comfortable using internet research tools and social media platforms.
