Production Manager

Production Planning & Operations

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives.
• Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to production plans.
• Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Minimize production downtime and address operational bottlenecks.

Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and motivate production staff and supervisors.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and workforce planning.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Quality Management

• Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where required.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Promote workplace safety awareness and safe operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

Cost Control & Productivity Improvement

• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen initiatives.
• Improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and productivity metrics.
• Manage waste reduction and process optimization projects.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Present operational performance updates to senior management.
• Develop action plans to achieve production targets.
