The team is heavily involved in utilizing computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to give our war fighters and allies an advantage.</span></p> <h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3> <p>We are seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing Imaging software team. In this role, you will help guide the development and implementation of robust DevOps strategies, practices, and tools, while managing and enhancing our specialized, on-premises developer infrastructure that powers our imaging software team. Your responsibilities will include designing and optimizing CI/CD, build, and release workflows across multiple deployment targets, as well as Nix software packaging and NixOS deployments to workstations and embedded systems. The ideal candidate is a skilled coder with deep knowledge of CI/CD, a problem-solver who enjoys simplifying, optimizing, and automating processes. Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) and Software-in-the-Loop (STIL) systems is highly valued.</p> <h4><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-uuid="60809f1c-06e7-4749-8bc1-02cabb718b94">Manage and expand specialized on-site infrastructure: Administer and grow on-premises developer servers, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) systems, and other compute resources.</li> <li data-uuid="7335520d-81b8-4601-9343-0d381713ba76">Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines: Design, tune, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g. CircleCI, GitHub Actions), build systems, dependency management, and deployment processes for our software.</li> <li data-uuid="ea72f006-9b91-4afa-98ea-d0c4e128e0cb">Automate and support development environments: Manage core development tools and systems, Machine Learning infrastructure, and access management.</li> <li data-uuid="9344cd68-85c6-428d-a063-1490d767e531">Implement Nix-based solutions: Support Nix software packaging and maintain NixOS configurations for both development workstations and embedded systems.</li> <li data-uuid="4567088f-7742-4382-ad2d-1f3bacbddea7">Integrate open-source, commercial, and Anduril-internal tooling to create effective solutions for software delivery.</li> <li data-uuid="19acc0ed-6512-424e-9c67-ba498667bdfc">Collaborate with Anduril's Developer Platform, Networking, and Security teams to support integration with broader Anduril systems.</li> <li data-uuid="dc1b7ac9-969d-4524-b8a0-0d6d6afed24f">Strengthen product security: Support security practices including testing, secure boot, vulnerability scanning, and configuration management for Linux and Nix systems.</li> <li data-uuid="4a31a4ea-d8d3-4ecf-8488-73ad334e8fa4">Monitor and optimize resource utilization for GPU compute, on-premises storage, and limited containerized and cloud infrastructure.</li> <li data-uuid="ab4f2872-61a6-493d-9ff9-024293ae28cc">Work with a multi-disciplinary team on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li data-uuid="febc1952-b972-47aa-9b69-20870244c63f">Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.</li> <li data-uuid="7fb32116-9db7-4842-92cd-147d57e4c93a">Professional experience in continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI).</li> <li data-uuid="f9c74fc2-7028-4952-8ef3-d60907c15990">Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, storage, and security.</li> <li data-uuid="7d59564a-3512-4849-9f57-c55a3558e361">In-depth knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).</li> <li data-uuid="d7720445-ce3c-4475-9f01-25efaf5edd8b">Professional software development experience in C++, Python, or similar languages, and proficiency in command-line&nbsp;scripting (e.g., Bash).</li> <li data-uuid="13cbb658-a0c1-41cf-9811-975a01863d99">Excellent problem-solver, self-motivated, driven, and organized.</li> <li data-uuid="8f482858-8892-4c95-8149-37543415bb4a">Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li data-uuid="567ef7da-3c7c-40f1-8ef3-12d6e249efbe">Experience with Nix, NixOS, and utilizing Nix for declarative system development and configuration.</li> <li data-uuid="11250812-36ce-44e5-87d2-6239561e790f">Prior experience with Build &amp; Release engineering, including strategy and process optimization.</li> <li data-uuid="4585f523-aa3d-4061-8671-e2e0497b0136">Experience with embedded Linux systems development and associated tools.</li> <li data-uuid="0eada335-c2d1-4876-9cda-b155f105bbf7">Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.</li> <li data-uuid="688aabb0-07fe-4e59-adc1-951b6897e76d">Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus).</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$166,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$220,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
