Job Description

Summary

The Research Assistant will assist in research and preparation of a

textbook manuscript for introductory economics.

Essential Functions

  • Transferring data. The RA will transfer data from an online

platform to Word documents.

  • Updating facts and links. The RA will work independently to

update cited statistics and embedded interactives.

  • Proofreading. Using their mastery of standard English grammar

and the assistance of tech tools, the RA will ensure that the text

is free of basic errors.

  • Digital accessibility compliance. The RA will ensure that all

word documents are fully accessible.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.
  • 15 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $17.95 per hour.
