Job Description
We're looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and help us build the features our customers love. This is an early-career role designed for someone who is eager to grow, writes clean and thoughtful code, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You'll work across the full stack — contributing to both frontend and backend — with close support from senior engineers and a team that invests seriously in mentorship and craft. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills while shipping real product that makes an impact.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship full-stack features across our product, working on both frontend interfaces and backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to understand requirements and translate them into well-designed, maintainable code
- Write automated tests and participate in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback to improve quality across the team
- Debug and resolve issues in production and development environments
- Contribute to technical discussions and grow your understanding of system design and architectural tradeoffs
- Proactively ask questions, seek feedback, and take ownership of your growth as an engineer
What We’re Looking for
- 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience through internships, bootcamps, or personal/open source projects
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in full-stack development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby)
- Familiarity with web fundamentals — HTML, CSS, and how browsers work
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and how frontend and backend systems interact
- A growth mindset — you're comfortable not knowing everything and motivated to learn quickly
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience working on high-traffic, customer-facing web applications
- A passion for continuous learning and a "test and learn" mindset
We recognize that strong candidates may not meet every qualification listed. If you’re excited about this role and believe you can contribute, we encourage you to apply.
