Product Integration and Operations Manager
Location: Calgary, AB, Hybrid (in-office Monday–Thursday)
Language: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Duration: Permanent, Full-Time
Background Check Required: Yes
About the Opportunity
As the Product Integration & Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to how product work moves through the organization.
You’ll act as the central connector across design, PD, merchandising, analytics, and operations - owning calendars, SOPs, and cross-functional execution so creative teams can focus on what they do best. This role is ideal for someone who brings both creative understanding and operational rigour.
It’s an opportunity to define, lead, and scale a function that will directly influence how the business responds to trends and executes enterprise initiatives.
What’s in it for You
You’ll step into a highly visible role with meaningful impact and room to grow. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, shape new ways of working, and help evolve how the organization integrates product strategy with execution.
If you’re entrepreneurial, proactive, and motivated by building process, this role offers a rare chance to leave a lasting mark.
Your Responsibilities
Calendar & Process Ownership
- Own the end-to-end product calendar, including critical milestone tracking across design and product development.
- Build, maintain, and evolve SOPs tied to the PD lifecycle.
- Monitor timelines closely, flag risks early (on-track vs. at-risk vs. late), and escalate with clear, actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure teams understand milestone dependencies and can pivot as business needs shift.
Cross-Functional Integration
- Serve as the primary integration point across Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Analytics, and Operations.
- Reduce operational burden on creative teams by owning cross-functional coordination and execution.
- Support enterprise-wide initiatives and ensure alignment to the broader 3–5 year strategy (“True North”).
Project & Enterprise Leadership
- Act as the project owner for enterprise initiatives once delegated.
- Lead high-impact, one-off projects such as:
- Mini collections (e.g., anniversary initiatives)
- Executive and leadership presentations
- Internal trade-show or showroom-style moments
Business Insight & Analytics
- Review sales reports and post-mortems across banners.
- Translate performance data into insights that inform future product and process decisions.
- Partner with merchandising and analytics teams to understand what sold, why it sold, and what that means for future execution.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in design operations, product operations, project management, merchandising, or buying within a retail or brand environment.
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Experience building or improving processes, calendars, and operational frameworks.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret sales and performance data.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging senior leadership.
- A creative mindset paired with operational discipline—able to balance vision with execution.
