Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Allianz Commercial, you will be responsible for providing operational support for cloud-based environments, including AI Services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing infrastructure using Terraform and Azure Services
- Monitoring and supporting Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
- Handling incidents, service requests, and problem tickets using JIRA and ServiceNow
- Collaborating with development, data, and AI teams to ensure system reliability and performance
- Staying current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends
- Identifying opportunities for automation to reduce manual overhead and improve platform reliability and efficiency
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows
- Familiarity with GenAI models and natural language processing techniques
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud environment and services
- Experience with AI Platform Engineering, AWS Cloud, and Databricks is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cognitive Services and other AI/ML frameworks
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices
