Job Description
Our client is seeking a strong Ansible Automation Developer to join on a 100% remote, 6-month initial contract engagement. This is a large-scale organization who is looking to augment their automation journey!
Must have:
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation, focusing on Ansible for Configuration Management, orchestration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- High-level experience with Ansible automation across hybrid environments, including deep knowledge of both Linux (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows (e.g., WinRM, PowerShell) targets.
- Deep practical experience integrating Ansible into DevOps toolchains for a GitOps workflow (e.g: using Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps, and integrating with Secrets Management tools like HashiCorp Vault).
- Experience with Ansible Tower or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform is mandatory.
Combination of one or more of the following current Red Hat Ansible Certifications is highly preferred:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Managing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform (EX294)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Developing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform (EX374)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Additional certifications in Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) or other Configuration Management tools (e.g., Terraform) are a plus.
- Additional certifications in related technologies are a plus.

- Ensure scalability, efficiency, and resilience in automation solutions.
