Pay Rate: $24/hr T4
About the Engagement
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Level 2 Analyst to provide advanced administration, monitoring, and operational support within a large enterprise network environment. This role is responsible for maintaining stability, performance, and security across Cisco-based infrastructure and Check Point security platforms.
The successful candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Cisco routing and switching (mandatory) and demonstrate solid working knowledge across modern Cisco enterprise technologies including Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Cisco ACI. Experience with Check Point firewalls is required.
This role serves as the escalation point for Level 1 support and works directly with customers, vendors, and Level 3 engineering teams to resolve complex incidents and ensure optimal network performance.
Scope
Provide advanced L2 network administration and operational support in an enterprise environment
Act as escalation point for Level 1 support teams
Support Cisco-based infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless, and security platforms
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure availability and reliability
Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise network systems
Participate in testing and evaluation of infrastructure to identify improvements
Work closely with internal IS teams to support projects and operational initiatives
Provide rotational 24x7 support coverage
Support enterprise network-attached systems, including hardware, software, tools, and applications
Collaborate with vendors and Level 3 engineering for issue resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement of technical and service delivery capabilities
Assignment Deliverables
Timely resolution of network incidents and service requests
Stable and optimized network infrastructure performance
Accurate documentation (installation guides, runbooks, support procedures)
Successful execution of small to mid-sized network projects
Improved monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational processes
Effective escalation handling and stakeholder communication
Expertise Required
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching (mandatory)
Working knowledge of:
Cisco ISE
Cisco Wireless solutions
Cisco Catalyst Center
Cisco ACI
Experience with Check Point firewalls (required)
Knowledge of enterprise network operations, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
Familiarity with infrastructure testing, deployment, and optimization
Experience in documentation and process improvement
Ability to independently lead small to medium-sized initiatives
Nice to Have
Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
CUCM-related tasks:
Setup and configuration
Adding users
Phone deployment, moves, and changes
Phone registration and device assignment
Voicemail setup
