Junior Accountant – IT/Software Export Operations

What We Are Looking For:

1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in an IT/software export or service-based organization.

Basic understanding of salary accounting, PF, ESIC, TDS, GST, and Softex documentation.

Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally Prime, or similar tools.

Solid learning attitude with the ability to assist and support senior accountants in daily accounting and compliance activities.

Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a structured, process-driven accounting workplace.

Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Accountant in recording and managing daily accounting entries — invoices, receipts, expenses, and payment transactions.

Support in salary processing, PF/ESIC calculations, and payroll coordination under supervision.

Help in preparing and reconciling TDS payments, GST workings, and Softex filings for export transactions.

Maintain accounting books using accounting software (Zoho Books/QuickBooks/Tally Prime) as guided by the senior team.

Assist with vendor invoice management, payment tracking, and bank reconciliations, including foreign currency receipts (USD/EUR).

Help organize audit-ready documentation, statutory filings, and month-end financial closures.

Collaborate closely with the senior accountant and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate accounting operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

1–3 years of experience in general accounting, payroll, or statutory compliance (preferably IT/ITES export business).

Working knowledge of Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally Prime, or similar tools, and proficiency in Excel.

Robust organizational skills, accuracy in data handling, and ability to follow structured accounting workflows.

A positive, learning-focused attitude with readiness to assist in end-to-end accounting processes under guidance.
