AIG Hospitals is looking for a senior scientific communications professional to join its communications team and lead high-quality academic, clinical, and science-backed content initiatives. The role is ideal for someone who can understand complex medical and research-led subjects and translate them into clear, credible, and compelling communication for doctors, patients, media, academia, and digital audiences.

The candidate will work closely with clinicians, researchers, leadership teams, and the communications department to develop scientific content for conferences, academic programmes, research initiatives, institutional campaigns, social media, brochures, presentations, press material, and thought-leadership platforms. Beyond execution, the role will involve conceptualising content-led campaigns, strengthening science-backed storytelling, and providing strategic inputs for institutional and doctor-led communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop academic, clinical, research, and healthcare communication content across formats.
• Translate complex medical/scientific information into accurate, accessible, and engaging narratives.
• Support scientific content for conferences, CMEs, workshops, publications, presentations, and institutional campaigns.
• Work with doctors and senior leadership to create speeches, quotes, articles, LinkedIn posts, media notes, and thought-leadership content.
• Conceptualise science-backed campaigns and creative communication ideas for AIG Hospitals.
• Collaborate with design, digital, PR, and social media teams to ensure content is accurate, impactful, and audience-appropriate.
• Provide strategic inputs for strengthening AIG’s academic, research, innovation, and clinical communication.
• Ensure scientific accuracy, consistency of messaging, and alignment with institutional positioning.

Desired Profile

• 10+ years of experience in scientific communication, medical writing, healthcare content, academic communication, pharma/healthcare communications, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of medical, clinical, research, and academic content.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work with senior doctors, researchers, and leadership teams.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitals, pharma, medical education, or scientific publishing preferred.
• Familiarity with social media content strategy and digital healthcare communication will be an added advantage.
• Strong conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
