Role Overview

The Sales & Operations Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing end-to-end sales, client servicing, and operational execution for luxury travel experiences. The role requires a strong balance of client acquisition, itinerary design, vendor coordination, and on-ground service excellence, catering primarily to HNW and premium clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Management

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HNWIs, corporate clients, and travel partners
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand preferences and travel objectives
  • Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings and achieve assigned sales targets

Itinerary Customisation & Sales Advisory

  • Design bespoke luxury itineraries aligned with client expectations and brand standards
  • Recommend premium destinations, unique experiences, and high-end accommodations
  • Present proposals professionally and close bookings with confidence

Market Intelligence

  • Track luxury travel trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback
  • Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to regional growth strategies

Operations & Execution

Booking & Operations Management

  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors for flights, hotels, transport, visas, and experiences
  • Manage end-to-end booking processes with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure all documentation, confirmations, and timelines are met

Client Support & Experience

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after travel
  • Handle travel-related issues, changes, or escalations promptly and professionally
  • Deliver consistently high service standards to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Build and manage relationships with luxury hotels, DMCs, airlines, and service providers
  • Negotiate competitive rates and exclusive privileges while maintaining service quality

Budget & Profitability Management

  • Ensure itineraries remain cost-effective without compromising luxury standards
  • Monitor margins and profitability on each booking

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports, including KPIs and pipeline updates
  • Coordinate closely with finance and central operations teams for billing and reconciliation

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in sales and operations within luxury travel or hospitality
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of travel logistics, itinerary planning, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Client-centric mindset with the ability to anticipate and exceed expectations
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, booking platforms, and MS Office
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury destinations and premium travel experiences
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
