Support Center
Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Diabetes Health Educator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Diabetes Health Educator, you will:
- Facilitate diabetes education (self‑management, prevention, nutrition, lifestyle change) in virtual and in‑person community settings.
- Education will be primarily offered in the evenings and may include classes, interactive workshops, and support groups.
Qualifications include:
- RN or RD license required
- CDCES Certification OR at least 2 years of experience providing diabetes education, and willingness to obtain CDCES certification
- Experience facilitating group learning (virtual and in-person experience preferred)
- Ability to captivate and motivate participants in virtual and in-person settings
- Commitment to ongoing learning and skill development in the field of diabetes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Spanish speaker preferred
Work Schedule:
Employment Type: Part Time
Hours per Week: 2-5 hours/week
Typical Daily Schedule: Monday through Friday evenings
Shift Type: Evening Shift
Holiday Requirements: Follow the company holiday calendar
Pay Range:
$37.17 - $55.76

("Nicotine products" include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, hookah, and nicotine replacement products (e.g., nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lozenges, etc.).
