Travel Nurse – Yukon Territory

Adeksa is is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) for northern relief deployments in Yukon Territory under a Government of Yukon Standing Offer Agreement.

You will provide primary health care in remote communities with a high degree of clinical autonomy. Deployments are call-up based, typically 2–8 weeks. Return travel and housing are fully arranged.

What you'll do

• Deliver primary care — triage, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment — in a remote clinic setting
• Perform expanded scope procedures: suturing, casting, prescribing, emergency airway management
• Manage acute, chronic, and complex presentations independently
• Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as required
• Collaborate with regional health teams and physicians via telemedicine

Required qualifications

• Current Canadian provincial RN or NP registration
• Eligible for YRNA (Yukon Registered Nurses Association) registration
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience, including 1+ year in a northern or remote setting
• Demonstrated expanded scope practice experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Current TNCC or ITLS (or willingness to obtain before first deployment)
• Vulnerable sector check within the past 6 months
• Valid Canadian driver's licence
