Production Supervisor(Night Shift)

Location: Frederick, MD

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000

A growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and support production, warehouse, sanitation, and quality objectives. This position is responsible for leading production personnel, ensuring food safety compliance, maintaining productivity standards, and achieving key operational metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign employees to workstations and coordinate staffing throughout the shift
• Schedule employee breaks and ensure adequate production coverage
• Supervise production activities to maximize output while minimizing downtime and waste
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance activities
• Complete shift reports and communicate operational issues to management
• Train, coach, evaluate, and develop production employees
• Maintain a positive team-oriented work environment
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Monitor warehouse and sanitation operations to support production goals
• Track and improve key performance indicators related to quality, efficiency, and safety

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• HACCP certification or ability to obtain certification within six months
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional college coursework preferred

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of manufacturing or production experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
