Summary

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed infrastructure and platform environments, ensuring that all deployments align with organizational goals and technical requirements. Collaboration with various teams to coordinate deployment activities and troubleshoot issues is also a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices across all cloud deployments.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Service Management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Ability to design scalable and secure cloud architectures that meet business requirements.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance tuning of cloud environments.
• Understanding of security frameworks and risk management in cloud platforms.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Infrastructure Service Management.
• This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
