Job Description

You will be working as an Accountant at ACA Group, a leading governance, risk, and compliance advisor in financial services. Your role will involve supporting ACA in meeting its accounting and financial reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate accruals for Cost Centers across departments such as Legal, HR, Marketing, India, and others.
  • Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations, focusing on resolving items related to Account receivable.
  • Perform Intercompany reconciliation and collaborate with other functions to resolve mismatches.
  • Handle monthly settlements from Broker Dealer entities to Corporate.
  • Conduct prepaid reconciliation, execute recurring journals, and templates.
  • Record accruals for expense reporting and credit card reclasses.
  • Distribute monthly dashboard for the monthly close process and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly journals for T&E expenses billable to customers.
  • Send monthly FX rates.
  • Record reclasses and accrual journals in Workday ERP.
  • Support management in completing the annual US GAAP audit and other local audits.
  • Review, update, and maintain SOPs.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
  • Minimum three (3) years of accounting experience with a focus on month-end close process and accruals.
  • Strong financial analysis and excel skills.
  • General understanding of financial/accounting systems, experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting/financial management principles.
  • Ability to make independent judgments and exercise discretion.
  • Demonstrated professional integrity.
  • Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
