Job Description
You will be working as an Accountant at ACA Group, a leading governance, risk, and compliance advisor in financial services. Your role will involve supporting ACA in meeting its accounting and financial reporting obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate accruals for Cost Centers across departments such as Legal, HR, Marketing, India, and others.
- Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations, focusing on resolving items related to Account receivable.
- Perform Intercompany reconciliation and collaborate with other functions to resolve mismatches.
- Handle monthly settlements from Broker Dealer entities to Corporate.
- Conduct prepaid reconciliation, execute recurring journals, and templates.
- Record accruals for expense reporting and credit card reclasses.
- Distribute monthly dashboard for the monthly close process and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform monthly journals for T&E expenses billable to customers.
- Send monthly FX rates.
- Record reclasses and accrual journals in Workday ERP.
- Support management in completing the annual US GAAP audit and other local audits.
- Review, update, and maintain SOPs.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
- Minimum three (3) years of accounting experience with a focus on month-end close process and accruals.
- Strong financial analysis and excel skills.
- General understanding of financial/accounting systems, experience with Workday is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting/financial management principles.
- Ability to make independent judgments and exercise discretion.
- Demonstrated professional integrity.
- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new initiatives.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
