About Us

We're looking for an SEO Specialist to own and grow the organic search presence across several of our Group's brand websites.

These aren't e-commerce sites chasing seasonal traffic spikes - they're B2B and B2C properties for specialized markets like professional gymnastics, indoor climbing, and institutional locker room fittings. The audience is niche, the buying cycles are long, and the work is genuinely interesting.

You'll work directly with our marketing, content, and web development teams. Some of the sites you'll handle are multilingual, and most are built for professional buyers -architects, sports facility managers, school procurement teams, distributors.

This role is about visibility, content strategy, and driving qualified traffic that supports our business goals.

Required Qualifications & Knowledge

• 3–6 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally with B2B or niche product websites
• Comfortable working with multilingual sites - experience with hreflang, country-specific domains, or subdirectory structures is a strong plus
• Solid grasp of technical SEO - you should be able to look at a crawl report and know what actually matters
• Familiarity with tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, and GA4
• Good written English; ability to brief content teams clearly without turning every brief into a 10-page document
• Someone who can work independently across time zones without needing to be micromanaged

Key Responsibilities

• Auditing and optimizing existing brand websites across the ABEO Group for technical SEO health, on-page quality, and crawlability
• Developing and executing keyword strategies tailored to each brand's market - gymnastics equipment in France is a very different search landscape than climbing walls in the UK
• Working with content and creative teams to brief, review, and improve landing pages, category pages, and blog content from an SEO standpoint
• Managing and improving structured data, hreflang tags, and international SEO setups across multilingual/multi-regional sites
• Tracking performance through Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools; turning that data into clear priorities
• Content Collaboration: Work with the Creative Lead to plan and optimize content that resonates with our target audiences (schools, sports facilities, commercial clients).
• Keeping an eye on algorithm updates and adjusting strategies accordingly, without panicking at every Google announcement

What Sets You Apart

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or similar
• Any exposure to sports, fitness, or equipment/manufacturing industries
• French language skills (not required, but genuinely useful)
