Cybersecurity Analyst Intern

About the Role

Zorvyn is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Cybersecurity Analyst Intern to join our security and risk engineering team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity, threat analysis, and protecting modern financial systems. As an intern, you will gain hands on exposure to real world security operations, advanced monitoring tools, cloud security practices, and compliance driven environments used by high growth fintech platforms. You will work closely with senior security engineers and analysts to help safeguard applications, infrastructure, and sensitive financial data.

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive stipend of 45,000 INR per month.

Performance based PPO opportunity up to INR 16 LPA annually for high performing interns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events across applications, networks, and cloud environments to identify potential threats or anomalies.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments, basic penetration testing activities, and security posture reviews.
• Support incident response activities, including initial analysis, documentation, and remediation tracking.
• Help maintain and update security dashboards, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Analyze phishing attempts, malware indicators, and suspicious user activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate security controls and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging threats, attack techniques, and cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as networking, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, or endpoint protection tools is preferred.
• Awareness of web application security fundamentals including authentication, authorization, and common vulnerabilities.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure, and their shared responsibility models.
• Ability to read and understand logs, alerts, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with cross functional teams.
