Data Engineer – Snowflake & Python

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in building efficient ETL/ELT workflows, optimizing Snowflake data warehouses, and working with large datasets to support analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and Python.
• Implement ETL/ELT workflows for ingesting and transforming large-scale datasets.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake data warehouse structures, schemas, and queries.
• Use Python for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, CSV) in Snowflake.
• Implement data modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake schema) to support analytics.
• Optimize query performance, warehouse usage, and cost management in Snowflake.
• Integrate data from multiple sources such as APIs, databases, and cloud storage.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience with version control systems like Git
