As an Account Executive at Zoca, your role will involve managing the full sales cycle for the SMB segment, from prospecting to closing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing for SMB accounts
- Conducting outbound prospecting through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
- Executing consultative sales approaches to understand prospect needs and demonstrate value
- Managing pipeline effectively using our CRM system
- Meeting and exceeding monthly quota of $10,000 in new business
- Documenting customer feedback and market insights to help improve our product
- Collaborating with other team members to optimize sales processes
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- 2+ years of proven B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in the SMB segment
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with full-cycle sales, from prospecting to closing
- Strong phone presence and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Ability to work US business hours from India (EST/PST timezone alignment)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience selling to local businesses or retail segments
- Knowledge of the US market and business culture
- Experience with outbound sales tools (Sales Navigator, outreach platforms)
- History of exceeding quotas in previous roles
