Role Overview:
You are sought after to be a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and lead generation. Your responsibilities will include a combination of hands-on sales tasks along with leading and developing a team of SDR interns. To excel in this role, you should possess strong persuasive skills, be goal-oriented, and be enthusiastic about driving revenue growth while also mentoring the upcoming sales talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth: Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities by conducting research, outreach, and networking.
- Sales Management: Present products and/or services, manage client accounts, and secure deals to meet revenue targets.
- Relationship Building: Sustain and expand long-term and fruitful relationships with existing customers.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise, guide, and train SDR interns to ensure their productivity, skill enhancement, and accomplishment of team objectives.
- Educate interns on the best techniques for lead generation, cold calling, and sales communication.
- Assess the performance of SDR interns, offer feedback, and provide guidance for their improvement.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on expanding the SDR function and enhancing sales strategies.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to potential clients.
- Understand client requirements, propose customized solutions, and offer consultative assistance.
- Assist clients throughout the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Achieve or surpass annual sales quotas, team targets, and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
- Work alongside management to forecast, plan, and optimize sales processes.
Qualifications Required:
- Possess 3+ years of demonstrated sales or SDR experience with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing quotas.
- Previous involvement in mentoring or overseeing junior sales staff, interns, or SDRs.
- Solid background in lead generation, prospect management, and pipeline development.
- Comfortable with conducting high-volume outreach and cold calling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in client-facing interactions.
- Persuasive, resilient, and highly driven to achieve outcomes.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities; adept at managing multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to evaluate performance metrics and refine strategies.
