Job Description

As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for the following key accountabilities:

  • Achieving 100% On Time and in Full delivery of all orders as per P2 Plan.
  • Ensuring material costs align with the target shown in the P&L.
  • Updating cost sheets and working towards achieving targeted profit from operations.
  • Preparing order completion reports within one week from the date of dispatch.
  • Leading special projects assigned, such as minimizing wastages/scrap from production, introducing robotics in warehousing, and implementing Electronic Data Interface with buyers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Timely creation of Sales Order numbers for new orders and sharing buyer Purchase Order and Sales Order numbers with relevant departments within 24 hours.

2. Developing Bill of Materials (BOM) promptly for repeat and new orders, including Cubic Meter details within specified timeframes.

3. Creating Time and Action Calendar (TNA) within 72 hours of order confirmation.

4. Updating cost sheets, generating Material Requirement (MREQ) requests within 2-3 days of order receipt, and identifying orders below 25% contribution as RED for cost improvement efforts.

5. Securing approvals for fabric and pre-production samples from buyers.

6. Adhering strictly to the First PC Approval and First Fifty PC Approval processes with the Quality Control (QC) team.

7. Maintaining regular communication with planning and production teams to achieve 100% On-Time-In-Full delivery.

8. Collaborating closely with Planning and Production departments in P1 and P2 plan preparation to achieve 100% On-Time-In-Full delivery as per P2 plan.

9. Working closely with the production and planning departments to prepare the annual production plan.

10. Identifying new vendors for cost reduction and better quality of all purchases, working closely with the supply chain team.

11. Ensuring that material consumption, material cost, and other targeted costs align with the P&L targets.

12. Collaborating with the business and operations teams to prepare the annual marketing and operation plan.

If you are the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech (Textile) from a reputed institute with over 7 years of related experience.
